Digital Maine Library
MARVEL is now the Digital Maine Library
Maine’s online resources have been known as MARVEL since 2004.
The Maine State Library and Maine InfoNet are introducing the 2018 replacement, the Digital Maine Library!
A new name, a new logo, a new website and new technologies providing access to both old and new content.
Spread the word – and the new web address: MARVEL is now the Digital Maine Library https://library.digitalmaine.org
The Digital Maine Library provides every resident of Maine with access to online resources that include a collection of full text articles and abstracts from magazines, newspapers, journals and reference. It also provides students, business people, public library patrons, and higher education students and educators the ability to use online learning tools.
Wi-Fi Hot-Spot – Wireless internet access is now available at the
Library. The signal is functional inside the Library, anywhere inside the
Municipal building and in the parking lots.
We are a “PAL” Library. Limerick Public Library is a “PAL” (Partner
Library) with Portland Public Library. You can get your Portland card
here which will give you full privileges to Portland Libraries and access to
their on-line databases and services (including audio and e-book downloads).
Interlibrary Loan. If this library does not have a book you want,
the librarian may be able to get it for you from another library.
Library Holdings and Services:

Inter-library Loan Service

Art/Cultural Exhibits: The Library hosts monthly, rotating
exhibits that include art, commemorative displays, cultural collections,
photography and collections of interest.
Overdue Policy: Library patrons will be fined 10 cents per day
per overdue item. Fines are based on a seven day week including holidays. For
your convenience there is an
outside book drop next to the handicapped accessible entrance. Please put items
in a plastic bag before putting them in the book drop and include your fine
payment if one is due.
We recently partnered with an organization that allows patrons to do Maine DMV driver's license practice tests as well as download driver's manuals.
