The Town of Limerick is governed by the Maine Uniform Building Codes. Towns with a population under 4000 had to adopt the Uniform Building Code. The town of Limerick adopted the MUBC March 2012, and it became retroactive to September 2011. This code covers the entire state of Maine including all state buildings.
